Embrace The Lamb on Etsy

So I have officially launched my new knitting business on Etsy called Embrace The Lamb.  Funny name huh?  There is meaning behind it:)

Let me formally introduce myself, my name is Nina Marie, and I am the creator of Embrace.  I specialize in knit cowls and infinity scarves of all sizes and colors!  So why the name Embrace?
The verb embrace means 'To Hold (someone) closely in one's arms, esp. as a sign of affection'.

Well, for one, all of my designs hold the wearer close and snug tightly around them, embracing them wherever they go.  Secondly, God wants to embrace us as His children under His wings as a mother hen Matthew 23:37 - "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing...".
The entire title is called 'Embrace The Lamb'; why 'lamb' you might ask?  For one, most of my creations are made using a wool mixture yarn, which comes from lambs/sheep.  But more symbolically, the Lamb is Jesus, the Lamb of God, John 1:29 - "...
Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world."

So praise God for another discovered talent of knitting as well as the beautiful gift of photography He has given me a passion for.

I have been learning many new knits, some of which are easier than others, though all very unique:)  Already I have sold 2 cowls and I hope to be selling many more during the Christmas season.  What better gift to say 'I love you' or 'I value our friendship' than to buy them an original home knit warm and cozy embracing scarf/cowl for the winter?:)

This is very inspiring. I've been wanting to start a store on Etsy as well so this gives me a little courage to do so. Also I like that you put some honest thought into the name. Very inspiring. Great job, Nina!
